Who Am I? Who Are We?

When they ask me for my race
I circle "other"
For I do not have the truth of who I am
& whence I came...

I only know what I have been told
By men who brought my ancestors here
The daily brainwashing & ascendancy applied to an entire selection of human beings
There were no Moses or angelic blessing given to them
Not one part of the Bible does it say ANYTHING about them...
Over 400 years of the same oppression
I ponder..

Imagine the planning gone into destroying a race..?
so that they would later kill themselves by fear
& make it much easier to just sit & watch them disintergrate
Off with the heads of those who spoke out
because they were awake & knew the world was already hibernating

HIV/AIDS was the party favor..
Then came crack & cocaine..
Beautiful dames changed when they met that cocaine..
Same women had kids & now I introduce media induced rap game
The same lame plain flow they spit, its sick how the public doesn't know
That 10% is talent & the rest is just show
Those who come with a message get shoved out the door...
Music has always been the gateway to the soul
The rhythm & beat engages your mind to & fro...
Hypnotized by the lyrics, content with the flow..
Mental control in plain sight with the biggest lie ever sold.
Behold!

I humbly return to the point at hand..

My race entails an entire continent conjoined in a country
African-American
Even "Black" is an option & honestly I'm offended by that.
Black was given to us before they began calling us Negroes
Then Negroes brought in niggers & so forth
So in actuality
It doesn't explain much to me..
I know of Jamaicans, Europeans, Indian & Cuban...
They are all from a country, not a continent
But to hear the continent I am from
used as my race
Shows how little they cared about preservation
We not know of where our ancestors began
& yet we are content with only caring for 28 days...
I wonder what country my ancestors were from
I would love to know my history
Whether we were kings & queens..
To want to know is to wonder which inspires research..
hmmm...random thoughts i have..
